I think there may be flower fairies
That only come out at night

And what we see is their costumes
Upon the first daylight

They danced around in the garden
In the light of the moon

Twinkling stars, their audience
As crickets whistle a tune

But, in the daytime, they must sleep
All snug within the flower beds

They hang their clothing upon the stems
Before they rest their heads

So as you walk in the garden by day
And see the flowers you adore

You're seeing petal 'costumes'
At night, the fairies wore

Have A Wonderful Day!!
