It is a path to solitude
The Lord offers us to follow
If in each day you drudge along
And your spirit feels a bit hollow
This life of ours is not just wanting
the things we may desire
He shows the way to peacefulness
If we reach out, we may acquire
The destiny that we achieve
Is the destiny we choose
Others may try to decide for us...
We can accept or we can refuse
For some reason there are those
who find joy if others fail
But, that is not the Lord's way
He lays before us a righteous trail
So follow His path till you come to the bridge
It's your choice to cross to the other side
Don't let other people decide your lot
Let the Lord be your only guide.
