The shades pulled down
And day is gone
Quiet is the night
It's hours before dawn

Stars in the sky
What do you think
Is that a twinkle
Or is that a wink



It's said that the night
Has a thousand eyes
Perhaps she does
In her shadowed disguise

There she is
It's the darkest of night
She'll not get lost
In the path of moonlight



Night's eyes
Smiling down on you
My Sweet Friend ....
I'm smiling too

Now you close your eyes
And go to sleep
Soon,Morning's eyes
Into your window will peek!
